[基本信息]
陈辉，男，甘肃省酒泉人，教授，博士生导师，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家。1984年毕业于西北林学院森林资源保护专业，同年留校任教迄今，1999年获西北农业大学农业昆虫与害虫防治专业博士学位。2005年2月至2006年6月在美国佐治亚（The University of Georgia）大学作访问学者。
现任林学院院长，西北农林科技大学第九届学位评定委员会第五分委员会主席。兼任陕西省林学会常务理事，陕西省昆虫学会副理事长。
[研究方向]
主要从事森林害虫的综合治理、森林害虫种群生态学的基础和应用、森林昆虫化学生态学、昆虫与植物的关系、森林昆虫行为学、森林害虫种群时空动态与扩散规律等方面的研究工作。
[开设课程]
长期致力于森林昆虫学、昆虫生态学的教学与科研工作，先后承担本科生的森林保护学、森林昆虫研究技术等课程教学，为博士、硕士研究生讲授森林昆虫生态学、森林昆虫学研究进展、林业科学进展、野生动物生态与管理、森林保护学专题等课程。
[学术成果]
1984至今，一直致力于西北地区重大森林害虫的发生规律与可持续控制理论研究与实践。先后参加国家“七五”、“八五”、“九五”西北地区森林害虫治理科技攻关等课题研究工作；主持完成4项国家自然科学基金面上项目。目前主持1项国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家“十一五”科技支撑项目、国家林业公益性行业科研专项、教育部博士点基金项目等课题研究工作。主持完成的国家自然基金项目“华山松大小蠹和共生真菌致死寄主树木机制”获陕西省科学技术一等奖，研究成果在国内外《Journal of Economic Entomology》、《Journal of Environmental Entomology》《Bulletin of Entomological Research》、《Canadian Entomologist》等刊物发表论文116篇，其中SCI收录25篇。2005年获陕西省科学技术一等奖，2001年获陕西省科技进步一等奖，2002年获第六届中国林业青年科技奖获得者，2004年享受国务院政府特殊津贴。
